Proper Disposal of Wastewater from a Water Treatment System
- Discharge to the ground surface, foundation drain, storm sewer, or septic system is NOT allowed.
- A separate dedicated disposal system must be installed to receive wastewater from water treatment devices.
- The disposal system must have a storage volume of at least 1.5 times the volume of the maximum wastewater discharge from the treatment device.
- Shall not be located 10' from any subsurface disposal system.
- Must be at least 75' from any well.
